What is Cub Scouting?
Cub Scouting is a youth program designed for boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade (typically aged 5 to 10). It provides an engaging and age-appropriate introduction to the principles of scouting, focusing on character development, outdoor activities, skill-building, teamwork, and community involvement. Cub Scouts participate in fun and educational activities within small groups called dens, led by adult volunteers, and they work towards earning badges and advancements while fostering a sense of adventure and camaraderie.
